SRT IN BUDAPEST 2011

Sub-Regional Training 2011 – Budapest, Hungary

We are happy to invite you to our Sub-regional Training this spring!

SRT’11 is planned for all NEOs, LEOs, NOREs and LOREs. Its goal is to develop new tools to improve

the exchange programs in your NMOs and LCs. There are no specified sub-regions in Europe to participate.

Date? Venue?

The event will take place in Budapest, Hungary from 27 April to 01 May 2011. The chosen location is a three-star hotel with twin rooms. Three meals per day are included.

Goals?

Its main goals are learning more about SCOPE and SCORE, motivating people and team building, learning and improving skills needed for organising a good exchange program, providing the LEOs/LOREs with extensive information about the IFMSA and the participating NMOs (National Member Organisations), training the LEOs/LOREs, sharing experiences and solving common problems faced by the LEOs/LOREs, collaborating with other NMOs and having fun!

Trainings, workshops?

We will offer a great variety of trainings concerning topics related to the work of SCOPE and SCORE. Some of the topics to be discussed at SRT ’11: conception of pre-CA, outgoing selection (differences among NMOs), marketing (we may focus on the newly introduced WikiScope manual), Contact Person (the selection and role of CPs' vary in a very wide range), a brief introduction of Hungarian LCs',SCOPE/SCORE Agenda 2011/2012, etc.

Social programs?

SRT ’11 will provide you colorful social programs too. The followings are planned: sightseeing tours, river cruises, visiting unique spas of Budapest. In the evening the legendary international food & drink party and more are waiting for you.

Transportation?

This event is going to be the easiest-to-get-to event of IFMSA, as it is located along the main street connecting Ferihegy International Airport with the city centre of Budapest. Public transportation in Budapest is included in the registration fee.
