Structure

HuMSIRC is a national organization which joins the forces of medical students all around the country. It is composed of four Local Committees, which are full members of our National Organization and located according to the Medical Universities in Hungary, such as Budapest, Debrecen, Pécs and Szeged. The headquarters of the Organization is in Debrecen, Hungary.

All activities of HuMSIRC are supervised and coordinated by our National Board:

1.    National President

2.    Vice President on Internal Affairs (VPI)

3.    Vice President on External Affairs (VPE)

4.    National Officer on Medical Education (NOME)

5.    National Exchange Officer (NEO)

6.    National Officer on Research Exchange (NORE)

7.    National Officer on Reproductive Health (NORA)

8.    National Public Health Officer (NPO)

The National Board is elected each year in autumn on the National General Assembly hosted by one of the Local Committees.

HuMSIRC is controlled by the President. The President works together with the VPI, who is responsible for finances, and with the VPE, whose duty is the promotion of the Organization. The exchanges concerning medical students are coordinated and overseen by the NEO and the NORE. They keep in close contact with the NOEs and NOREs of other countries’. For our well established preventive work the NORA and the NPO are inevitable. They coordinate the health education and prevention, which has been really successful throughout the years and has encouraged many medical students to use the knowledge that they acquired during their medical studies.
